Does bottled water really impact the enviornment as much as experts say?
Besides the sheer number of plastic bottles produced each year, the energy required to manufacture and transport these bottles to market severely drains limited fossil fuels. Bottled water companies, due to their unregulated use of valuable resources and their production of billions of plastic bottles have presented a significant strain on the environment. The demand for bottled water is higher than ever and the bottle companies arent backing down. Yes they may have alternatives such as using less plastic or having a enviornmentally friendly ad on the side but it just will not cut it. People are wasting and not recycling as much which is the main source i would think.
I'd like to see some more specific info here, some figures, stats, etc. Your topic sentence is good, but use some more specific evidence to back it up. And when you use specific info from sorces, you will need to add in-text citations.
